Snow Shoveling Co-Op: Students 4 Seniors & Neighbors with Disabilities

Turn your clocks back ONE hour tonight and start to think about winter!

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Snow Removal Program will pair Baltimore City residents who are qualifying seniors or persons with disabilities with a Baltimore City student who will assist them by removing snow from the Public Right of Ways adjacent to their properties. 

In 2015-2016, the snow season will run from November 15, 2015 through April 15, 2016

SENIORS, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES LOOKING FOR SNOW SHOVELERS

Deadline to sign up: November 15, 2015

Seniors and residents with disabilities must meet certain qualifications for the program (see registration form).

All senior/disabled registrants must submit a completed registration form and all supporting documents to Baltimore City Department of Transportation by NOVEMBER 15, 2015. Call DOT at  (443)-984-4095 for more information.

The City will notify senior/disabled residents of the status of their applications by mail within a few weeks of receiving their documents.

Please note: Service is based on DOT having sufficient students available, therefore completing this registration form does not guarantee that there will be a student available to remove snow for all accepted registrants.

'Do the right thing' and help seniors and people with disabilities in your neighborhood while earning $500 or more as a youth worker for DOT! 

Students can sign up for the City Youth Snow Program by calling (443)-984-4095 or emailing:  jobs.trans@baltimorecity.gov

Since the deadline is VERY SOON, HPCA encourages interested students(parents/guardians) to CALL the number provided above on Monday morning!
