First Rain Barrel Workshop in Howard Park a Big Success!

05/11/2014 8:40 AM | Manon Schladen (Administrator)
x  24 people of all ages gathered in the cafeteria at Calvin Rodwell Elementary School yesterday morning to make rain barrels for residential use. Roof water captured by rain barrels provides a economical way to water gardens during the summer months and also helps protects the Gwynns Falls watershed, and ultimately the Chesapeake Bay, from pollutants contained in storm water run-off.
